Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna is fresh new soap airing on STAR Plus. It started to air on November 3, 2008 replacing the 8 year old serial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. This serial is also directed by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, but named with a ‘T’ instead of ‘K’ like in normal Ekta’s serials. It was created by Balaji Telefilms and they aired the last episode on February 5, 2010. The title song of Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna was also aired with the first episode on Star Plus.

Story line: It is a story of two childhood friends with diverse backgrounds – one a Zamindar and the other a mere farmer. There is a love story between Vrinda and Yug the daughter and son of Zamindars. The relation between these two families are not good and they have been enemies for for a lot of time. Balwant has a grand daughter Vrinda and Aditya has grand son Yug, who both fall in love with each other. The situation is against their love and many tragedies happen through the serial. After some time, there was a new storyline shown (i.e. 8 years later) where Yug and Vrinda are married, but Yug is on sreets as he refuses to do any business. Yug is now blaming himself for destroying the life of Vrinda and wants to suicide.
